Location: Tremblay en France, LE DE FRANCE
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 14 Oct 2022

The project will take place under the direction of Isabel Alves and Estelle Rascol at the Institute of Chemistry and Biology of Membranes and Nano-Objects (CBMN) at the University of Bordeaux.
The laboratory is equipped with the majority of the instruments necessary for the realization of the project. Access to platforms present on campus such as the Microscopy platform (Bordeaux Imaging Center at IINS) is also envisaged.

This project (funded by the National Research Agency) aims to study the role of the membrane lipid environment on the biophysical and pharmacological properties of the dopaminergic D2 receptor. The project will involve both studies in cells as well as on lipid model systems and the use of approaches in biophysics (calorimetry, fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy, thermophoresis) and biochemistry (enzymatic tests, purification and characterization of proteins, etc.).
The activities :
- Cell culture
- Development of model lipid systems
- Production, purification and characterization of proteins
- Calorimetry (DSC)
- Spectroscopy and fluorescence microscopy
- Thermophoresis
- Enzymatic tests
- Analysis of results
- Oral presentation in English
- Writing of publications and thesis manuscript
