Summer jobs, Thesis positions, Doctoral studies in Measurement science and technology

Metrology Research Institute of Aalto University (http://metrology.aalto.fi ) is searching for summer students. Your background could be e.g. electrical engineering, physics, optics, or automation. You can be in the beginning of your studies or more advanced. It is also possible to do candidate works, diploma works, or doctoral studies with us.

We have interesting ongoing projects in photometry, radiometry, spectrophotometry, and electrical instrumentation, where the students will take part. For examples of projects, please see our web page. Projects include EU-funded projects for environmental aerosol measurements, solar cells, photometry of LED based light sources, and radiative cooling materials.

We appreciate good study record, average preferably over 3. Good language skills in Finnish and/or English are essential for research work. We also appreciate practical skills, e.g. hobbies.
