Student Assistant for project execution (1 year)

DTU Wind Energy is looking for a student helper who is highly motivated and proactive to help us with projects related to continued education. DTU Wind Energy holds a large number of projects and the student assistant help support the Head of Divisions and Head of Study to ensure smooth project execution and administration of the chosen projects.

DTU Wind Energy is developing Massive Online Open Courses in order to create values for the society. In this project, you will be working closely with the Head of Study at DTU Wind Energy in supporting the development of the MOOC courses. In addition, you will help our teaching staff with structuring and managing course materials for our online courses. You will also help summarizing the project status in easy to interpret templates. The student helper might support one or more projects in parallel. From this experience, you will gain first-hand experience in course management and develop valuable skills in project management.

Our expectations of you
We expect the candidate has strong skills in Microsoft windows, is a good team player, and with good communication skills (fluent in English and Danish, both oral and writing). Students with background in physics, engineering or IT are preferred. The candidate should also have a strong interest in education activities in general.

Your work scope mainly includes:

  • Support project execution of chosen project(s) in relation to continued education
  • Support interaction with external parties (under the instruction of Head of Study)
  • Ensure that relevant templates are available and maintained

Salary and appointment terms
Working hours are on average 10 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1st April 2022 (or according to mutual agreement). The employment is for 1 year.

The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State).

The workplace is DTU Risø Campus (with flexibility of working from home due to COVID-19 policies).
