Postdoctoral position in bioinformatics, Department of Biology

Updated: over 2 years ago
Deadline: 07 Oct 2021

A two-year postdoctoral position is available in the Garg lab at University of Copenhagen. Our research focus is to develop new computational algorithms for solving fundamental genomic problems. We seek a passionate postdoc to develop sophisticated computational algorithms/machine learning methods to integrate multiple complex datasets to yield meaningful insights into human health and biodiversity. More specifically, we are interested in combining third-generation sequencing datasets for more than several hundreds of samples through novel computational models.  These computational models (tools) will also be relevant to large-scale sequencing efforts such as Human Pangenome project, Personal Genome Project and Darwin Tree of Life.
