The Department of Basic and Clinical Sciences of the University of Nicosia Medical School is one of the two departments of the University of Nicosia Medical School. The Department is continuously expanding in the areas of education, research and clinical service provision. It currently delivers two undergraduate programmes:

  • The St. George’s, University of London MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD) 6-year undergraduate entry degree awarded by the University of Nicosia Medical School
  • The Department of Basic and Clinical Sciences of the University of Nicosia Medical School works closely with the Department of Primary Care and Population Health, which currently delivers three postgraduate programmes: the MSc in Family Medicine, the Master of Public Health (MPH) and the Master in Health Services Administration.

    The position

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated faculty member with relevant academic qualifications and research experience in the field of Pathology to undertake teaching and research.  Interested candidates can apply for ANY RANK. Applicants interested to work part time will also be considered.

    Qualifications required

    • MD and/or Doctoral degree (PhD)
    • Teaching Experience
    • Research experience
    • Publication record
