For the selection to the scientific post and position of Assistant – Doctoral Candidate in the science and higher education system, on project "Transforming the Adriatic cosmos: insularity, connectivity and glocalized identities of pre-Roman Dalmatia" (UIP-2020-2419) released by the Croatian Science Foundation, on a fixed-term full-time employment up to 4 years, and in accordance with the Financial and Work Plan of the Establishment Research Project of the Croatian Science Foundation– 1 employee (m/f).Requirements: Candidates for vacancy are required to meet the general conditions specified by Article 40, Article 42 and Article 43 of the Law on Scientific Activities and Higher Education; to have completed Undergraduate and Graduate University study or Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate University study or a Specialist Graduate in archaeology, i.e. to hold a degree by which they gained a high qualification before the Law on Scientific Activities and Higher Education came into force; the total average of grades at the previous levels of study (undergraduate, graduate or integrated study) which provides for enrolment in doctoral studies in archaeology, letter of recommendation of at least one university professor/researcher at least in the position of research associate. Additional criteria for taking precedence at the Competition: motivation letter, previous participation in scientific research, experience in archaeological field research and experience in pottery studies, familiarity with AutoCAD software and making of the archaeological documentation, previous recognitions and awards for excellence in studying and research work, professional training and fluent knowledge of English language.
