"Senior Research Associate" in the field of Forestry - 8 positions (# of pos: 8)

Croatian Forest Research Institute is hiring eight (8) employees on the position of “Senior Research Associate” in the scientific field of Forestry: 1 position - in the scientific field  of Forestry; Genetics and tree breeding, 5 positions in the scientific field of Forestry; Forest management, 1 position in in the scientific field of Forestry; Ecology and Silviculture and 1 position in the scientific field of Forestry; Forest protection

In addition to the general conditions for employment established by the Labor Act (NN 93/2014, 127/2017), applicants (m / f) must meet the following mandatory conditions:

- conditions determined by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (NN 123/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07 - Decision of the USRH, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13 ) for election to the associate position of Scientific Advisor

- completed graduate university study Forestry or graduate university study Urban Forestry, Nature and Environmental Protection

- PhD in the scientific field of forestry, branch: ecology and forestry,

- scientific papers published in journals of WoS database

- conditions determined by Regulation of Croatian Forest Research Institute regarding additional conditions for selection for scientific positions

- conditions determined by article 16. of Ordinance on the conditions for election to scientific titles (Official Gazette 84/05, 138/06, 42/07-USRH Decision, 120/07)

- experience in leading or participating in scientific and/or professional research projects in the field of study

- knowledge of MS Office,

- knowledge of English in speech and writing

- foreign citizens - knowledge of the Croatian language, basic communication.

- proof of citizenship

- a copy of the diploma of completed postgraduate university study of Forestry

- a copy of the diploma of completed master university study of Forestry or Urban Forestry, Nature and Environmental Protection

- evidence of work experience in research projects

- list of papers and description of scientific and professional activities

- proof of knowledge of English or some other foreign language

- a copy of a driving licence

- other evidence that the applicant considers relevant,

The place of work is in Jastrebarsko. Applicants are expected to be willing to work outdoors and in the forests.
