Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Zagrebačka 30, is announcing

COMPETITION

Faculty of Humanities

• for the selection of one executor for the associate title and for the position of postdoctoral student in the field of humanities, history, branches of Croatian and world medieval history, on the project “Rituals, ceremonies and symbols of the Croatian Middle Ages in the European context (800-1600) ”(HRZZ IP-2020-02-3702), for a fixed period of up to 12 months full time.

Prerequisites: completed university postgraduate doctoral studies in history.

Advantage: experience in researching ceremonies and rituals in the Middle Ages, especially in the North Adriatic.

Along with the application for the competition, it is necessary to enclose:

a) curriculum vitae;

b) a copy of the postgraduate doctoral degree;

c) a copy of the supplementary document (supplement) of the postgraduate doctoral study;

d) description of previous scientific and professional activity;

e) a birth certificate or proof of citizenship of another state;

f) for foreign citizens, proof of knowledge of the Croatian language.

Applicants who exercise the right to priority in employment according to special regulations are obliged to refer to this right in the application for the competition and submit a certificate of recognized status from which the said right is visible.

The application with documentation is submitted in written and digital form.

By applying to the competition, the applicants expressly agree that the University of Juraj Dobrila in Pula may collect, use and further process data for the purpose of conducting the competition procedure in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data.

Persons of both sexes have the right to apply for the competition.

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 days from the day of publication in the Official Gazette.

Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.

The University reserves the right to cancel the competition or not to select any candidate, without stating the reasons for cancellation.

Applications with attachments are submitted to the Secretariat of the Rectorate at the address: Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Zagrebačka 30, with the indication "for the competition".

Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
