Position Summary:

The research project will explore and analyze museum practices with regard to accessibility.  It will document the experience of people visiting the Museum of First in Quebec and especially focus on the needs of those living with disabilities.  Together with the museum partners and partners from associations of persons with disabilities the project will seek to co-create recommendations that will improve accessibility in the museum and increase participation of those living with limitations.

The postodocral researcher will gain knowledge on a variety of resesarch methodologies and knowledge syntheses.  They will participate in data collection, analysis and interpretation.  Ultimately, they will acquire a broad and in depth knowledge of issues pertaining to accessibility and participation of individuals living with disabilities. 

Qualifications:
PhD in related field.

Annual Salary:
