The Konrad Adenauer Research Award is funded by the Federal Foreign Office and has been presented annually by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation since 1989. Named for Germany’s first federal chancellor, this award honours the academic record of an internationally recognised researcher from Canada. The Adenauer Research Award is designed to strengthen academic and cultural relations between Canada and Germany.
