Position Details | The Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) is a central support to the research community at the University of Lethbridge and is a valuable and important resource as research activity continues to grow. Our office invites applications for a full-time Grants Facilitator in the health and medical sciences portfolio to commence December 1, 2022 for a one year term. Reporting to the Associate Vice-President Research, the Grants Facilitator plays an important role in ensuring the continued growth and development of research and scholarly activity of the health and medical sciences faculty at the University of Lethbridge. The portfolio for this position is primarily health research funders including the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) and Alberta Innovates. Position Qualifications | The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a graduate degree (preferably in a health-related discipline) and have experience in writing and reviewing grant applications and contracts. The candidate must be familiar with national granting councils and other major sponsors of university research in Canada. Specific knowledge of the university’s systems for administering the financial, legal, and ethical aspects of university research is strongly encouraged. The ideal candidate will:
