The Healing and Tissue Fibrosis Research Group is a research group located at the CHU de Québec- Université Laval Research Center and is affiliated with the LOEX Center at Université Laval. It contributes to a better understanding of the mechanisms of normal healing but also to a better understanding of the mechanisms of fibrosis in various skin pathologies such as scleroderma or hypertrophic scars. Researchers train the next generation of scientists in the field of biomedical research and more particularly in the field of tissue engineering for applications in basic or clinical research for the treatment of patients.

Functions

Dr. Veronique Moulin's laboratory is looking for a postdoctoral fellow in the field of cell culture and the understanding of intra and extracellular signaling pathways.

This project will include three-dimensional cell culture techniques (tissue engineering) and various biochemical and molecular analyzes (in situ hybridization, immunodetection and RNA seq). The project aims to understand the role of a cytokine in skin fibrosis.
