The Medical University – Varna, Bulgaria, is looking for a Researcher in Cardiometabolic Biology (R3 or R4) to join the research team of Dr. Manlio Vinciguerra at the Research Institute of MU-Varna (RIMUV) as a team member of the project: Circulating Histone Proteins as Biomarkers of Disease (CHiP-BiD). The position is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria under the National Scientific Programme “Excellent Research and People for the Development of European Science” 2021 (VIHREN) of the Bulgarian National Science Fund.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working in close collaboration with the CHiP-BiD principal investigator, the applicant will participate in research activities involving screening of the literature for selection of molecular markers of cardiovascular diseases, preparation of manuscripts summarizing the CHiP-BiD research as well as the research in the field, and mentoring younger stage researchers.
