Post-doctoral Fellowship in Xenotransplantation

The Human Genome and Stem-Cell Research Center (HUG-CELL) – one of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, hosted by the University of São Paulo's Biosciences Institute (IB-USP) – opens a call for application for postdoc vacancy within the scope of Project "Systematization of the Xenotransplantations techniques in Brazil," conducted under the aegis of FAPESP's Research Partnership for Technological Innovation Program (PITE). 

The candidate must have proven experience in mammal gene-editing system and cell culture, molecular biology, PCR, RT-qPCR, Western Blotting, immunofluorescence microscopy, NGS sequencing, Sanger, flow cytometry, FACS sorting and immunology.

Applicants must submit a CV of 2 pages (maximum), recommendation letter and / or motivation letter.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
