Post-doctoral Fellowship in Information Retrieval

Applications are open for a 2-year (renewable) post-doctoral fellowship position to work at the Department of Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Computing (DEMAC), State University of São Paulo (UNESP), Rio Claro, São Paulo State, Brazil.

The candidate must have a PhD in Computer Science or in a related field.

The position requires research and development in Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.

The candidate is expected to interact with other members of the project including professors, undergraduate, masters, and PhD students.

The work of the fellow will be focused on the application of unsupervised learning algorithms in different domains and the investigation of unsupervised learning methods using deep learning.

Fellowship:

The post-doctoral fellowship includes a monthly stipend of R$ 7.373,10 (about USD 1,800) and research contingency funds (15% of the annual value of the fellowship, each year).
