The AXES research group at the University of Antwerp ( ) has an open position for a postdoctoral researcher to strengthen our developments in the field of (photo)electrochemistry.

Postdoc position in (photo)electrochemistry (f/m)


  • You develop novel (photo)electrochemical strategies and publish your work in high quality journals.
  • You assist PhD students in the field of electrochemistry.


  • Applicants are expected to hold a PhD ?n chemistry, chemical engineering or physics.
  • You can submit outstanding academic results, with publications in high impact journals.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English ?r? key assets.
  • Expertise ?n electrochemical sensor development is needed.

What we offer

  • We offer a f a 1-year research project in a dynamic and international context, possible extension with 2 additional years;
  • Your gross monthly salary is calculated according to the pay scale for a principal research fellow in the Contract Research Staff category (Dutch: Bijzonder Academisch Personeel, BAP).
