Post-Doctoral Position in Human Tumor Immunology

Updated: over 2 years ago
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 30 Sep 2021

The group of Pierre van der Bruggen is a pioneer in the field of cancer immunotherapy and discovered the first human tumor antigens recognized by T lymphocytes. In close collaboration with clinicians, we aim to characterize the mechanisms of resistance to cancer immunotherapy, with a focus on myeloid-derived suppressor cells. The research group is part of the de Duve Institute, a multi-disciplinary and international biomedical research institute of the UCLouvain in Brussels.

Your mission
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to pursue an exciting post-doc project in our lab, that is aimed at understanding how human myeloid-derived suppressor cells suppress the activity of immune cells, impede immunotherapy and favor tumor progression.

What we offer
Three-year postdoc fellowship.
