Phd student communications sciences


-    At least 90% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation
-    You prepare a Phd in the domain of persuasive communication, focusing on the impact of social media influencer on the motivation of young adults to increase their exercising/sport behavior.
-    You perform independent academic research through all phases (literature study, design of studies, data collection, data analyses, reporting).
-    You participate in academic (international) conferences.
-    You provide support for education within the department (to a limited amount).

-    You hold a Master’s degree in communication sciences (communication management), psychology, applied economic sciences, or equally.
-    You are motivated, creative and have a passion for academic research.
-    You have an affinity with experimental research, and statistical software packages.
-    You have a strong knowledge and experience in the domain of persuasive communication.
-    You have good communication skills in English.
-    You like challenging scientific research in a multidisciplinary and international context.


-    We offer you a contract of indefinite duration with a maximum term of 4 years
-    Your contract will start on 1/09/2021 at the earliest.
