We have a funded position for a PhD student in Wind speed modelling and anemometry.
The Brussels Institute for Thermal-fluid systems and clean Energy (BRITE) is a young, dynamic group working on thermal-fluid systems for aeronautical, aerospace and energy applications.
In this project, the focus is on using data-driven techniques for wind speed modelling.
More specifically, the goal of the project is to develop a framework for realistic, high-fidelity surrogate time series of wind data, while fully accounting for the fact that wind is nonstationary, multivariate, and nonlinear.
