The Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Sciences is looking for a full-time doctoral scholarship holder in the field of Data Science

Position

  • You will work actively on the preparation and defence of a PhD thesis in the field of Recommender systems. Interesting research directions in this regard are not only making new ways of making recommendations, but also, for example, to investigate on what basis recommendations have been made (explainability) or how we can prevent undesirable social effects (e.g. polarization) from occurring recommendations that are made.
  • You will publish scientific articles related to the research project.
  • You will carry out a limited number of teaching and research support tasks for M.Sc. Data Science
