Job profile:

PhD position for an early stage researcher to work on the effects of global changes on canopy surface and leaf temperatures in relation to ecosystem processes. You will be embedded in an international stimulating research environment at Austrian second largest University, located in the middle of the Alps. Next to your research you will be asked to support the activities of the Doctoral Program Alpine Biology and Global Change. Teaching opportunities will be offered. Required Qualifications: You should hold an MSc or equivalent degree in a field related to ecology, plant ecophysiology or environmental sciences; experience in statistics, data-analysis (incl. image analysis) and writing; very good English; excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to work in a team; flexibility; ability to perform field work.
