In this 4 year position you are expected to write a dissertation in the area of dictionary learning or time-frequency analysis (random Gabor frames) in a stimulating environment as part of the research group Mathematical Data Science using the university's infrastructure. You will hold your own courses, tutor students and participate in administration. 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis. The university position consists of 20 hours per week until the dissertation agreement is submitted (usually after the first year) and is raised to 30 hours per week afterwards. There is the possibility to augment the working hours in the first year by 10 hour project employment.
