University Assistant (PhD position)

Responsibilities: research in field of Educational Science (Dissertation thesis) independent teaching in the field of „General Education“ support of students in the field of General Education supervision of BA theses in scope of General Education taking part in (international) conferences; publications; further vocational training involvement in department and teaching administration   Required qualifications: MA (or equivalent) in Education/ Educational Science or in discipline relevant for the field of education, preferred in General Education or History of Education knowledge in Cultural Studies; experiences with philosophical and qualitative research designs are an advantage ability of working in research teams and independently; good communications skills outline of dissertation project (max. 5 pages) excellent command of German, good command of written and spoken English In this position you are expected to write a dissertation in a stimulating environment using the university's infrastructure. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration. 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis.
