Job profile:
University Assistant - Dissertation position (20 hours/week - upon submission of the dissertation agreement, the employment level will be increased to 30 hours/week), Institute of Experimental Physics starting 01.07.2023. Main duties: Dissertation in the field of strongly correlated quantum matter; Independent research in the field of quantum physics and quantum optics; Independent teaching; Education and training; Administrative tasks. Required qualifications: completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diploma studies; good English skills, experience in working with laser light, optics, electronics; knowledge in the field of ultracold atoms and quantum gases is highly desired; ability to work in a team with project groups, creative problem solving ability; please include written reflections on your dissertation project (max. 5 pages) with your application.
