In this position you are expected to write a dissertation in a stimulating environment using the university's infrastructure. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration. 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis.Main tasks: Dissertation in the field of metabolic signaling and mass spectrometric bioanalysis; Independent research; Independent teaching; Supervision of students and publication activities; Education and training; Administrative tasks.Required qualifications: completed scientific studies (Master or Mag.rer.nat. in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, biochemistry or a comparable discipline); communication skills, ability to work in a team.Desired qualifications: experience in cell culture, mass spectrometric analysis of proteins, PTMs and/or polar metabolites using stable isotope labeled metabolic precursor molecules, as well as bioinformatic and statistical analysis of mass spectrometric data. Experience using MaxQuant, TraceFinder, Proteome Discoverer, Compound Discoverer, PASTAQ, and/or R desired; Please include written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages).
