Job profile:

Senior Scientist with PhD (16 hours / week), Institute for Construction and Materials Science, Unit for Material Technology from 12/18/2021 to 12/17/2025 ;main tasks: Independent acquisition and implementation of research work in the coating technology; Independent teaching; Supervision of students including supervision of master's and diploma theses as well as co-supervision of PhD theses; Participation in organizational and administrative tasks in the work area; Support and participation in the organization and administration of the NanoLab (organization of renewals, maintenance and servicing of devices, installations and rooms of the NanoLab; comprehensive care of assigned devices; support of employees, students and external persons in the operation of these devices; implementation and control instructions and other organizational agendas of the NanoLab); Required qualifications: Completed PhD in the field of technical sciences in civil engineering, technical physics, technical chemistry; Excellent knowledge in the field of coating technology; Experience in the field of photovoltaic as well as experimental characterization and the operation of X-ray-based devices (XRD, XRF) and electron microscopes; Experience in projekt management in third-party funding; Excellent knowledge of German and very good knowledge of English; Ability to work in a team; Pleasure in working in the laboratory; Pleasure in teaching and supervising students; Leadership skills; Communication skills
