In this position you will carry out high level research and specialise in a particular field. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration.Required qualifications: Completed relevant studies (e.g. civil engineering, spatial planning, etc.) and doctorate with a specialization in the transport sector with a focus on transport planning; International experience is just as beneficial as experience in acquiring and conducting funded research projects, especially in the field of public transport, new mobility services and MaaS; Teaching experience in transport planning as well as experience in publishing in international journals with peer-review procedures (listed in Scopus or Web-of-science) and presenting research results in international conferences; Knowledge and experience in dealing with relevant methods (e.g. discrete choice modelling, etc.) are an advantage; Independence, ability to work in a team, creative problem-solving skills, didactic skills, communication skills; Good command of German (technical) language (demonstrably at leat leven B1 and willingness to improve, since teachig is to be held in German) and English (technical) language, both spoken and written.
