Postdoc Position (f*m)

(full-time / 40h per week)

in the IQOQI research group “Quantum Optics and Quantum Information”.

Main tasks:

  • The main topic of research is related to theoretical development of various schemes for fully programmable quantum simulators based on arrays of ions and Rydberg atom, and analysis of their perspectives in studies of many-body quantum systems, including topological ones.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in theoretical physics with international Postdoc experiences
  • Expertize in quantum many-body physics, both equilibrium and nonequilibrium, physics of ultracold atomic and molecular gases, and quantum optics
  • Excellent English skills
  • Ability to work with experimental groups

We offer an annual gross salary of € 55.242,60 before taxes, according to the salary scale of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF ).
