This Master thesis will investigate the physiological drivers that influence seagrass capacity to cope with ocean warming in Western Australia. The outcomes will improve our understanding of how future rising temperatures will impact Western Australian seagrasses and inform effective conservation strategies for their protection and restoration. The successful Master candidate will work in a collaborative team from ECU, conducting research in remote field locations and in mesocosm facilities. The position is based at ECU, Joondalup in the productive Centre for Marine Ecosystems Research.
