Outline

The UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Undergraduate Scholarships were established to enhance the opportunities of students to enrol in an undergraduate program of study within the UNSW Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture.

Scholarship Value and Duration Eligibility
NSW Chinese Community Endowed Scholarship at UNSW (UGCA1615)

$7,000 per annum for the duration of program


  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in the Bachelor of Social Research and Policy.
Alfred and Dorothy May Anderson Scholarship (UGCA1042)

$6,000 for Duration of program (up to 4 years)


  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period; and

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders)

  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education program

  • Students must be from a rural or an isolated area of New South Wales*

  • *Check the Australian Standard Geographic Classification Remoteness Areas (ASGC-RA) system map to check your eligibility. All categories other than RA1 Major Cities of Australia are considered to be regional or remote with the exception of Hobart.

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Aptitude and commitment to studies

Be commencing any UNSW undergraduate coursework degree program within the Faculty of Arts, Architecture & Design. Double degrees are permitted so long as both degrees are owned by the Faculty of Arts, Architecture & Design
Redpath Partners Women in Built Environment Scholarship (UGCE1450 )

$5,000 per annum for the duration of program


  • Be commencing a Bachelor of Construction Management and Property single degree program

  • Be Female

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
    • in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
    • in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period; and
  • Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic Merit

UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
