Tucker Family Scholarship in Nursing

The Tucker Family Scholarship was established in 2017, to provide financial support for 3rd year students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies in the Bachelor of Nursing course at Murdoch University. Scholarships will be awarded to one student studying at the Mandurah Campus and one student studying at the Perth Campus.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship you must:

• be an Australian citizen
• be enrolled full time in your 3rd year of the undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course at our Mandurah or Perth campus
• have a strong commitment to your studies and be in good standing.

Required Documents

This scholarship requires you to provide the following documents:

• completed application form  
• one written reference - either an academic reference from your school or university, OR a character reference from someone suitable to comment on your commitment to study
• personal statement of up to 300 words maximum, reflecting on the personal contribution you will make to your profession and the health of the community, once registered as a nurse.

Payment Method

Payments will be made directly into your nominated bank account in the following instalments:

• $1,500 in week 7 or 8 of the semester you are awarded
• $1,500 in week 7 or 8 of the consecutive second semester

These payments are subject to acceptance and ongoing compliance with the terms and conditions.
