TSS Total Surveying Solutions Scholarship

The scholarship provides:

  • $5,000 for one year
  • The oppportunity to participate in paid work experience at TSS during the vacation period(s) (e.g., 2 weeks in total).

Note: The TSS Total Surveying Solutions Scholarship is regarded as taxable income under taxation legislation as there is an opportunity to undertake paid work with the donor. We recommend that you obtain taxation advice from an accountant or the Australian Tax Office regarding this scholarship.

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be enrolled full-time for the duration of the scholarship (minimum 36 credit points per semester) in one of the following programs:
    • Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) (BH116)
    • Bachelor of Geospatial Science (Honours) (BH117)
    • Bachelor of Science (BP350) , majoring in Geospatial Science
  • be in your third or fourth (final) year of study in 2024
  • provide written responses to a series of application questions
  • be willing to participate in an interview, if shortlisted*
  • be willing to participate in paid work experience at TSS during the vacation period(s) (e.g., 2 weeks in total).

Preference will be given to students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders.

  • Describe your two best academic achievements or learning experiences in your program thus far. 
  • Describe your interpersonal and team-building skills, providing at least two examples from you study and/or work life.
  • What motivated you to choose your RMIT program? Include the steps you have taken to achieve your educational goals.
  • What are your future plans and career aspirations? 
  • Would you be willing to participate in paid work as part of your scholarship and if so, what would you like to achieve from this experience?
