The Russell Woolf Broadcasting Scholarship

The Russell Woolf Broadcasting Scholarship has been generously donated in memory of Russell Woolf. Russell Woolf was a highly recognised ABC journalist who graduated from Edith Cowan University in 1994 with an Associate Diploma of Performing Arts (Broadcasting). The Scholarship will provide a $10,000 Scholarship to a student from a marginalized group/community. Preference will be given to students who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

Eligibility guidelines

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be applying/Auditioning for 2024 commencement in the Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting course at ECU.

If successful in receiving a Scholarship Offer you must;

  • accept your enrolment offer in the required course;
  • have and maintain an academic progression status of GREEN; and
  • be studying full-time on campus (60 credit points or course equivalent);

How to apply

Students auditioning for a 2024 place in the Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting course at ECU will be considered for the Scholarship throughout the audition process. The successful recipient will be advised at the time of receiving their offer from ECU.
