Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation.  This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff. 

About the Role 

Student Service Delivery Assistants are an essential part of the Stop 1 team, responding to enquiries in accordance with established business practice guidelines and referral protocols. This includes the accurate and timely provision of information to current students, internal stakeholders and the general public, immediate transactional support for a range of activities, management of feedback and complaints, and appropriate referral for specialist assistance. 

The Student Service Delivery Assistant roles recruited for this period will be providing high quality general support and troubleshooting to students taking online exams during the Semester 1, 2022 main exam period. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very dynamic team and further develop your customer service skills and gain experience within tertiary education. 

About You 

You have excellent written and oral communications skills, with experience providing seamless student services through the various service channels including face to face, phone, email, virtual and self-service options as required. You are committed to providing quality customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, front-line customer service environment. 

You must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply: 


  • Able to commit to 30 hours per week and up to full-time availability from 30 May to 24 June 2022 
  • Availability to attend training during the week (Monday-Friday, 8:45-5) of 30 May 2022. 
  • Availability to work minimum 6 hour shifts between the hours of 8:45am-8pm, Monday to Friday, during the period of 6- 24 June. 
  • Ability to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check at own expense upon successful offer.  
  • Infrastructure to work from home, including reliable internet connection and computer
