Why did it move?
On 1 June 2022, the Governor-General, acting on advice of the Federal Executive Council, made an Administrative Arrangements Order to commence on 1 July 2022.
The orders state that the Department of Education, Skills and Employment will become the Department of Education and a new entity will be created, the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
New websites have been created for the Department of Education and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations . The Department of Education, Skills and Employment website will be decommissioned.
