PhD Scholarship in Water and Low Emission Technology

Updated: 9 months ago
Location: Melbourne, VICTORIA
Deadline: The position may have been removed or expired!

This PhD project aims to develop novel nanofibre membranes with superhydrophobicity using novel polymer chemistry and nanofibre morphology. Working on ARC projects focusing on functional membrane materials for next generation water desalination and low emission technologies.
The successful applicant to this PhD programme will contribute to the aims of the ARC DECRA project with the main supervisor, Dr Seungju Kim, to provide the cost-effective and energy-efficient potable water production and carbon dioxide separation processes for sustainable development of Australian communities, which will lead to exciting opportunities for travel, collaboration, and multi-disciplinary working.
