Chronic lung diseases are responsible for millions of premature deaths each year and there an urgent medical need to develop new and effective treatments. We are developing new nanomedicines to deliver therapies to a specialized immune cell in the lungs called macrophages. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we will develop innovative treatments to improve health outcomes.
