I am an experimental particle physicist that work on improving our undertading of the fundamental forces of nature as well as looking for phenomena that are beyond our current theoretical understading in terms of the Standard Model of Particle Physics. The research is carried out within the LHCb collaboration that runs one of the four large experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. I supervise a number of projects that involve data analysis, the application of artificial intelligence and the development of new experimental methods through collaboration with our theoretical colleagues. All research takes place within our dynamic research group with academics, postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate students.

  • Search for physics beyond the Standard Model in penguin decays in data from the LHCb experiment.
  • Artificial intelligence algorithms for the real time processing of data from the upgrade LHCb calorimeter.
  • The role of collective effects in the formation of heavy hadrons in proton-proton collisions.
  • Search for double flavour decays where two quarks in a baryon decay through the exchange of W bosons.
