Located in the heart of Sydney’s inner west quarter, close to beaches, parks, public transport and shopping districts.
Seeking outstanding academics to provide leadership and help create a world-class, internationally recognised Faculty for research and education excellence.
About the opportunity
The School of Biomedical Engineering was established in 2019 to facilitate collaborative research excellence in the field of biomedical engineering. Through our academic staff and students, our research will aim to serve the public as a thought-leader and provide innovative technology for industry, hospitals, governments and the wider community.
We are seeking applications for several academic positions at all levels within the School of Biomedical Engineering.
Successful applicants will have an excellent research record and be able to teach in a range of courses. The school is embarking on an exciting growth journey, adding several new positions, which will complement our core areas of strength and push the frontiers to new research areas. We are particularly interested in applicants that enhance the range of research in the School, or build connections between our research areas.
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Successful applicants should expect an internationally competitive salary, a generous start-up package and a first-class research environment.
The School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Sydney is prioritising a search for faculty members who are able to contribute in the areas of:
Genetic Engineering
Medical Imaging
Biocomputation and modelling
Female academics meeting the selection criteria are strongly encouraged to apply.
