MEDIQ Financial Scholarship (External)
The winner will receive a cash amount of AUD $1,000 initially and AUD $500 per week to be able to live and support their endeavours whilst working 8.30am – 5.30pm in our vibrant Melbourne office. The placement will require working 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) for 2 months.
Scholarship Value: Initial $1000 then $500 per week while interning.

Be studying Accounting, Finance or Financial Planning at an accredited international university or college.
Fully proficient in English at a level that will be tested in a Skype call and conversation.
In any year of study other than your first year of tertiary education with the fundamentals of accounting or finance having been studied.
Dedicated to and wanting to learn from a firm that is a specialist accounting firm and be able to help with general office duties.
Able to travel to Australia on a short-term working Visa. Whether you intend to stay in Australia after studying isn’t a prerequisite.
Either have working rights within Australia, or hold a valid passport from a country involved in the Working Holiday Program with Australia.

To enter the competition for a chance to win the MEDIQ Financial Scholarship and International Internship program, you must use a creative medium to represent a side of accounting that you love or adore.
The entry can be a song, video, poem, essay or anything else that you think can accurately display a side of accounting and finance that is creative and doesn’t get as much light.
Our team here at MEDIQ believes that accounting is fun – and we want your entries to reflect that.
You must also, with your application include a short biography about yourself and your reason for wanting to travel to Australia. This will be tested as a first gauge of your ability to communicate within English which is going to be a primary factor in the decision as stated above.
Please also include a copy of your transcript, headshot, LinkedIn profile, or anything else that we can use to get a proper gauge of the kind of person you are. We’re not looking for a straight A or straight HD student who wishes to travel.
