Domestic Applicants for the scholarship must:

  • be enrolled full-time at Flinders University*; and
  • have completed a minimum of one-year full-time equivalent study towards their course (36 units or 1 EFTSL); and
  • be an Australian Citizen, NZ Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or a Permanent Humanitarian visa holder, and
  • be in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment or be able to demonstrate equivalent financial hardship; and
  • be facing difficult circumstances which are beyond your control, and that are increasing your financial hardship.

International Applicants for the scholarship must:

  • be enrolled full-time at Flinders University*; and
  • have completed a minimum of one-year full-time equivalent study towards their course (36 units or 1 EFTSL); and
  • be an international student** enrolled onshore in Australia; and
  • be facing difficult circumstances which are beyond your control, and that are causing you genuine financial hardship.

*Students enrolled part-time may be eligible, in exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances include (but is not limited to) disability, illness or carer responsibilities.

** International student includes students who are holders of a temporary protection (refugee) visa.
