Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Manager, Scholarships to join Student Administration, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.

The Manager, Scholarships manages all QUT merit, non-merit and Faculty Scholarships across the enterprise. The role will prioritise the centralisation of scholarship administrative activities and will contribute to university scholarship retention and attraction strategies.

The Student Services and Wellbeing portfolio leads the university-wide strategy and coordination of all non-academic matters related to the student experience. The portfolio of Student Services and Wellbeing delivers a range of services across the student life cycle, as well as providing advice and leadership to the university on a broad range of student and staff matters, including social justice and public policy. What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of postgraduate qualifications in conjunction with extensive experience in the higher education sector. 
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation and reports for varied audiences.
  • Proven experience in leading diverse, high performing teams that enhance the student experience and wellbeing.
  • Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills to effectively advise, influence and communicate complex information to a diverse audience and to establish operational and strategic partnerships across organisational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational ability and initiative that demonstrates attention to detail, work planning to meet deadlines and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
