Description

These Indigenous graduate scholarships in Macquarie Law School are supported by the Accelerating development of the Aboriginal workforce in legal services project, a collaboration between Macquarie University, TAFE NSW and Legal Aid NSW. Designed to support the research training and doctoral studies of up to two Indigenous Law candidates, these PhD bundle scholarships will provide the opportunity for Indigenous candidates to complete both a Master of Research degree (MRes Year 2) and a PhD in Law.


Availability

This scholarship is available to eligible candidates to undertake a 4-year Mres (Year 2) + PhD program.


Scholarship Components

The scholarship is comprised of a Tuition Fee Offset and a Living Allowance Stipend. The value and tenure of the scholarship is a “MQRES” full-time stipend rate of $32,000 per annum (fixed rate) for up to 4 years.

How to Apply

New applicants to Macquarie University

  • MUST complete the Online HDR Candidature and Scholarship Application via the Online Application System and arrange for two academic referee reports to be submitted to the Graduate Research Academy. Please note you will only be able to submit the application if all mandatory fields are complete, and the required supporting documentation has been attached.

Current applicants with a successful candidature offer less than 6 months old and currently enrolled Macquarie University candidates:
