Overview

An opportunity exists to join the Research Contracts and Funding Team within Research Services to support ECU’s world class research. 

The Research Contracts and Funding Team provide expert advice and administrative support to ECU researchers.  You will be responsible for effectively managing post-award research grant administration and recording research grant information for the university. You will also negotiate research contracts with a variety of organisations including government, profit/not for profit, as well as international organisations, and will ensure contracts align with the project, ECU requirements and government policy. 

To be successful in the role you will require:

  • Experience in research, contracts, compliance and/or administration environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand and interpret complex documentation. 
  • Customer focus with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team. 

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This 0.8 FTE part-time fixed term position attracts pro rated remuneration of $75,821-$84,254pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution, pro-rated.
