About the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences is an extremely diverse faculty comprised of six schools, and a number of departments and centres. Our Faculty is renowned for global leadership in health research, policy and practice. About the Role
You will be responsible for advertising and managing graduate research scholarships, including faculty specific trust scholarships, awards and prizes. You will also provide accurate and detailed scholarship information and advice to current and prospective Graduate Research candidates and staff in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.

In a typical week at work, you may:

  • Be responsible for advertising, administering and managing graduate research scholarships, including faculty specific trust scholarships, awards and prizes.
  • Provide expert advice to graduate research candidates, supervisors, professional and academic staff on a range of graduate research scholarship matters.
  • Prepare reports relevant to graduate research scholarships (including trust scholarships), awards and prizes.

About You
You will be an organised and natural problem-solver, with the ability to manage your time effectively. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly both in a team and independently, will set you up for success in this role.

Ideally, you will further have:

  • A relevant degree with experience within the higher education sector; or a combination of relevant experience and education/ training.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and high-level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and schedule work to meet deadlines and to use initiative in problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and forge working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
