Bringing significant industry experience to the project, Adelaide Primary Health Network (PHN) focuses on improving health outcomes and the experience of primary health care within the Adelaide metropolitan region, aiming to ensure the health system better meets people’s needs. The Caring Futures Institute is also committed to improving health systems and outcomes and has complementary research strengths in implementation science. Together we are seeking innovative solutions to this challenging area of service delivery through this PhD project.

This important project involves:

Exploring and applying best practice for mental health service implementation to:

o   Address fragmentation of mental health services

o   Improve service planning and delivery

The PhD Enterprise Scholarship also includes an internship with Adelaide PHN of at least 60 full-time equivalent days, within 18 months of candidature, undertaken and completed prior to completion of the PhD. During the internship you will be embedded with Adelaide PHN, developing your network, and gaining insight into the everyday practices of a primary health network.
