Background
The Dylan Alcott Foundation is committed to providing equal educational opportunities for people living with disability. Dylan Alcott established the Foundation with a mission to help enrich the lives of young people with disability by eliminating the barriers of entry to get involved in sport and study through mentoring, grants and scholarships.

The Dylan Alcott Foundation will provide up to $10,000 per annum to La Trobe for the successful recipients course fees, and La Trobe will provide up to $5,000 per annum (full-time study) directly to the successful recipient for their study and/or living expenses.


Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be a domestic student
  • Be commencing your first semester of studies as an undergraduate student studying at a La Trobe Campus in Semester 1, 2024
  • Be up to 26 years of age
  • Be living with disability, either physical or non-physical as defined by the Disability Discrimination Act 1992
  • Provide a personal statement sharing your aspirations and academic endeavors

Recipient obligations

The successful recipient will be required to;

  • Engage and meet with the Dylan Alcott Foundation, which may include media activities
  • Provide an annual milestone report to the donor
