To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be a female Australian citizen;
- be enrolled in one of the eligible courses listed below;
- have and maintain an academic progression status of GOODSTANDING;
- be studying a minimum of 45 credit points;
- have completed a minimum of 120 credit points of your current course;
- have an minimum WAM of 60%;
- not be in receipt of another scholarship.

How to apply
Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal . Access to the portal is available between application opening and closing dates.
Applicants will be required to provide a personal statement of no more than 700 words addressing the following;
- Describe your interest in a career in Defence Science and/or Engineering;
- Provide examples of achievements in extra-curricular activities and/or community leadership and explain how the skills and experience gained may be applicable to this scholarship.
Applicants will also be required to provide a Letter of Support from an ECU Academic staff member .
Eligible applications will be assessed by a Selection Committee.
Selection will based on:
- Content of Personal Statement;
- References provided;
