Our aim is to produce top-quality doctoral students who can go on to contribute to our data-skilled workforce to shape Australia's digital future. Our scholarship students are the next generation of research leaders in data science who progress on to a diverse range of employment in the industry, research and academia.

Our PhD scholarship program provides opportunities for outstanding postgraduate students with demonstrated academic and research excellence to advance research projects in strategic priority areas. Scholarships are available to domestic and international applicants who are enrolled locally at an Australian tertiary institution on a full-time study program which will lead to the award of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Students will be co-supervised by researchers at CSIRO's Data61 and academics from an Australian University.
