What you'll receive
You'll receive from QUT:
- a tuition fee waiver for the duration of your course, which is normally 1.5 years for masters students and 3 years for doctoral students.
You'll receive from the China Scholarship Council:
- funding for living allowances
- one return airfare
- funding for visa applications
- health insurance.
You will also receive from QUT a QUT-CSC Top-up stipend for up to 3 years. (This amount will vary each year as it is topping up your CSC stipend that you receive from CSC, to the QUT Postgraduate Research Award rate.)
Eligibility
How to apply
Refer to the China Scholarship Council website (in Mandarin) for any additional documentation requirements and closing dates.
Apply for this scholarship at the same time you apply for admission to a QUT research degree . Ensure you start the QUT application process at least eight weeks prior to the CSC closing date.
Follow the advice at How to apply for a research degree . You must indicate that you are applying for the China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship in the financial details of the application form.
What happens next?
You will receive an offer letter if your application is approved. You then need to submit a separate application to the China Scholarship Council .
China Scholarship Council will notify you of the outcome of your scholarship application. Once received, you will need to either upload this document to the QUT Application Portal or email it to [email protected] .
